Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions constitute the agreement in principle between you (‘the User’ or ‘you’) and Al-Futtaim Travel (‘we’ or ‘our’) regarding purchasing items through this website and supersedes all prior correspondence or arrangements, whether oral or in writing, in respect of this subject matter. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the information and terms outlined in the Privacy Statement.

Al-Futtaim Travel Services

Al-Futtaim Travel acts as an agent for third party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, car rental firms and others (‘Travel Suppliers’). When you make an online booking on this website, a contract is made between you and the Travel Supplier, and their separate terms and conditions will apply to your reservation and purchase of travel related goods and services that you have selected.

The Travel Suppliers separate terms and conditions will be highlighted to you as you progress through the website. By accepting the Travel Supplier’s offer, you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions imposed by the purchase, including payment of all amounts when due and compliance with all rules and restrictions regarding the availability of fares or the cancellation, change of booking and refund in respect of travel. You agree to be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of the use of this website.

Payment – Air Products

For any airline tickets to be issued, advance payment in full is required.

Al-Futtaim Travel allows you to book air products online either in full or with a deposit. If a deposit is made, you are responsible for settling the remaining outstanding balance within 48 hours with our regional partner; otherwise you risk incurring the cancellation of the booking, together with any applicable cancellation fee. Please note that in some circumstances, the price of the ticket quoted may either be different due to taxes not shown on the global computer reservation system (e.g. war insurance, fuel surcharge) or changes made between the time of your booking and the time of issuing the ticket. If this occurs, Al-Futtaim Travel accepts no responsibility or liability for this price fluctuation.

Payment – Hotel and Car Products

a. Hotel Prepaid Services

Al-Futtaim Travel pre-negotiates certain room rates with hotel suppliers to facilitate the booking of reservations on your behalf. In these cases, which will be clearly identified during the booking process, by submitting your reservation request, you authorise Al-Futtaim Travel to make hotel reservations on your behalf, including making payments to hotel suppliers. Your credit card will be charged by Al-Futtaim Travel for the total reservation price shown on screen, which may include taxes or other charges in addition to the room rate shown in response to your initial enquiry.

b. Hotel Referral Bookings

Where a hotel booking is described as being on a referral basis, Al-Futtaim Travel may, if indicated, charge a non-refundable booking fee. The hotel charges will only be levied at the time of using the service, or if applicable, on cancellation (depending on the policy of the individual hotel). To guarantee your booking, hotels may require your credit card details. If you wish to cancel or amend your booking, you should contact the hotel directly. Cancellation charges may be applicable.

c. Car Rental - Available Bookings

Where a car hire booking is described as being ‘available’, the total reservation price will be charged on making your booking. In these cases, this action will be clearly identified during the booking process. By submitting your reservation request, you authorise Al-Futtaim Travel to make car rental reservations on your behalf, including making payment to car rental suppliers. Your credit card will be charged by Al-Futtaim Travel for the total reservation price shown on the website, which may include taxes or other charges in addition to the car rental rate shown in response to your initial enquiry.

d. Car Rental - On Request Bookings

Where a car hire booking is described as being ‘on request, you will be asked your credit card details; however the card will be only charged by the supplier on confirmation of your booking. The total amount due will either be shown on the website or will be notified to you before your booking is finally confirmed. If you subsequently wish to cancel or amend your booking, you should contact Al-Futtaim Travel. Cancellation charges may be applicable.

Cancellations and Modifications to Air / Hotel / Car Bookings/Holiday Packages

The cancellation and modification policy of your reservation was provided at the time of your booking. Where a modification or cancellation is provided in the policy, you can either contact Al-Futtaim Travel quoting your booking reference, to cancel or modify your booking.

Marhaba Refund charges-AED 50 per voucher
Holiday booking refund charges-AED 350 per package
Please contact your travel consultant regarding refund charges on all other travel products
